Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer USA Jobs – Duties

Conditions of Employment
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship and remain eligible
- Full-time schedule, 40 hours per week, with occasional additional hours including weekends/holidays
- Rotating 24×7 on-call duties

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Six (6) years’ experience within the last 10 years with IBM z/OS systems software and third-party vendor installation, maintenance, and support on System z
- Experience with mainframe software installation techniques and methodologies
- Experience with JES2 or JES3, JCL, TSO/ISPF, SMPE
- Experience with utility programs including IDCAMS, IEBGENER, IEBCOPY, ADRDSSU, and SORT
Preferred Qualifications
- Major in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
- Experience with z/OS Db2, scripting languages (REXX, CLIST, SAS), SMF, RMF, WLM, change control products, Control-M, RACF, zSecure, TCPIP, zOSMF
